“ In general, the whole chain of Steve's Poke Bars delivers constantly. But I like this location in particular as we would stop by after walking around SFU and Burnaby Mountain for a meal that completes a delightful experience. The staff is very friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. I like spicy protein in my poke bowl, and they offer the best variety of spicy seafood. Plus, remember to collect points. The rewards are pretty decent. ”
“ Delicious poke bowls at a pretty good price. This Hawaiian style poke bar, located in SFU, beat our expectations. Great people working there. We tried the shoyu salmon and the spicy mayo salmon w/ all the toppings (including pineapple, yum!) and quinoa (choice of quinoa, rice, salad). (California Dreamin' + Mayo Spice Me Up). They were both amazing but I gotta hand it to the shoyu sauce. It was amazing! The spicy mayo was good but the shoyu stole the scene. Great service, the people working there gave us samples to help us decide. Will definitely be going back. A++ ”
“ Food is always great, however recently, the service is not as exceptional as other Steve's Poke locations. With certain employees, the service is incredibly slow and portion size will be much smaller than standard, with under filled protein and leftovers in the scoop. Requests to add more free toppings will be seemingly unwelcome ”

“ Food: They always fill the bowl, and I do love all the extras you get. It is filling and value is as expected. One less star because I found the rice to be ever so slightly mushy for a poke bowl. Otherwise, happy with the ingredients. Service: young Asian man was helpful, courteous and patient while we decided what we wanted Atmosphere: to be expected for a “fast food” chain, but was clean, had indoor bar-height window seating as well as outdoor seating which is always appreciated. Price: We both got a single scoop but because of the review, received a free scoop, it worked out to be $20.14 each, if you get a regular double scoop it would cost more. It’s a little on the expensive side as rice to topping is about equal, but still within the Vancouver price range. They do give discounts if you bring your own container which I like. ”
“ One of the best places to have Poke bowl in Burnaby! This spot, despite being small, is very nice and clean. Decors are very modern and cute. The service was amazing! The server happily greeted us when we entered the place. We had never had Poke bowls before, so the server let us try the different seasoned sashimi in various bowls. He also friendly advised us which one he personally liked. That was very considerate of him! The poke bowls were insanely yummy! We didn’t know what to order so we asked the server to add in almost all no-extra-charge ingredients available. Amazingly, they all tasted good both as an individual and as a whole! I’d recommend adding their special sauce to make it even tastier! Overal, 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and.... Will go back for sure! ”
